The Water Agency is proud to announce a new role taken by Carrina Lim and colleagues in Indonesia as the Local Liaison for Water Cooperation between Indonesia and the Netherlands for East Java Province.
On 5 April 2023 in Surabaya, she attended a high-level meeting between the Madam Governor of East Java Province, Ibu Khofifah Parawansa, and the Deputy Ambassador of the Dutch Embassy, Ibu Ardi Stoios-Braken. The meeting was also attended by local government agencies in East Java Province, Netherlands Business Support Office (NBSO), and the honorary consulate in Surabaya. The meeting focused on the ongoing and potential water cooperation for the Welang River Masterplan follow-up and aquaculture revitalisation in Sidoarjo. In addition, important issues and opportunities in agriculture, husbandry, tourism, and education were also discussed.
In the new capacity as the Local Liaison, the team will support the local project stakeholders in communications, alignment, and stakeholder relations to promote inclusive engagements within the project.
