Port Pressure Cooker organised to align agendas Myanmar and Dutch stakeholders

One of the outcomes of the first Water Hub meeting with local stakeholders in Myanmar in October 2017 was to join forces to focus on Yangon Sea Port Development.

The Water Agency developed the framework for MM-NL Roadmap and initiated the Port Pressure Cooker activity to align agendas.

All Dutch stakeholders active in Myanmar and Embassy Team attended the energetic and effective workshop. The Pressure Cooker was organized after the Dredging Reclamation Course – and high-level diner with local stakeholders to utilize the time of stakeholders effectively. All notes were shared via private group on the Myanmar Water Portal.

TWA facilitated a Public Private conversation to support business development and position the Dutch Water Sector in Myanmar in the Port sector.

1. Establish common-ground on what a Yangon Sea Port is.

2. Establish common-ground on the key local stakeholders and their interests/drivers.

3. Agree on our Engagement Strategy: what do we want to talk about, how (tools) and when (planning)
