On November 25, 2019, the students from Thabyay Education Foundation joined the The Water Agency’s knowledge sharing seminar on “Sustainable Water Management in Environment”.
Our Water Hub Manager Ni Ni Win shared about the water issues, current water use situations in Myanmar, challenges concerning with water resources and necessities for sustainable development of water.
Myanmar is a country in a relatively favorable situation with respect to water resources. With its abundance in natural resources, the country has great opportunities to achieve a balanced and sustainable development. However, as considered a limiting factor for economic development, water management requires special attention. So, undertaking development of sustainable solutions to 21st century water resource problems becomes a strategic imperative.
Thus, by sharing knowledge and discussed with the students who are the young generations for Myanmar water sector, we encouraged them to get passion for water and inspire them towards the sustainable development in the water sector.
